In The Name of God amen I Stephen Griff of York Town in the County of York
and Province of Pennsylvania Being Sick and weak of Body but of sound and
perfect mind and Memonry Do make and publish this my last will and Testament
in manner and form following (that is to say) first that all my Just Debts and
Funeral Charges be honourably paid as soon as Possible after my Decease.
  Item I Give and bequeath unto my Eldest Daughter Eve the Sum of Five Shillings
by Reason that She already hath Received her Portion.
  Item I Give  and bequeath unto my Daughter Sarah the Sum of Twenty Pounds
Lawful mony of Pennsylvania.
  Item I Give and bequeath unto my youngest Daughter Magdalena The house and
Lot I Now live on and to her Heirs and assigns for ever and all the Rest of
my Estate (being the Personal Estate) Except the above mentioned five shillings
and Twenty pounds which are to be paid out of my Personal Estate to my two
Daughters as above mentioned and set forth as soon as possible after my
Decease And I make and Ordain my loving friends George Garber and Peter Shietz
to be Executors of this my last will and Testament In trust for the Intents and
purposes in this my will Contained.
  In Witness where of I the said Stephen Griffe have to this my last will and
Testament set my hand Seal this Twenty Sixth Day of August Anno Domini one
thousand seven hundred and Sixty Five.
