of North Carolina Being Weak in Body But sound in mind and memmory
Blessed be God Do This Fourth Day of September in the year of our Lord
One thousand Eight Hundred and twenty one Do make and pubblish this
My last Will and Testament in Manner And Form Following that is to Say
First my Will is that the My just and Lawfull Debts Should be paid and
the Rest of my Estate I Give in manner and Form Following.  Item I Give
and Bequath to my Loving wife Susannah During her Life or Widowhood or
until my youngest Son William Becomes of Age the Land and plantation
Whereon I Now live and mill And the mill To Be Repaid out of my Estate
one grey Mare one ------- cow with all my hose hold and kitchen
Furniture Except one Bed and Furniture and Dutchoven one Set of Plates
one cow and calf one Flax Wheel this property Excepted For my Daughter
Elizabeth Black.
   Item I give And Bequeath To my Son William Black One horse Valued
to Seventy five Dollars and Saddle And Bridle and For him to have
Schooling to Read and Write And A Suit of Cloaths of the Store when he
Becomes of Age and When my Son William Black Becomes of Age all the 
property that I have given to my wife and All my other property to be 
Sold and the money Equally Divided Between my Wife and all my
Children And Lastly I Appoint my Son John Black Executor to this my
last Will & Testament in Witness Whereof I the Said Jacob Black have to
this my last Will and Testament Set my hand and Seal the Day and Year
Above Written Signed Sealed published And Declared By the said Jacob
Black the testator his Last Will and Testament in the presence of We
Who Are present At the time of signing and Sealing thereof.
