In the name of God Amen I Adam Black of the County of Roan in the
State of North Carolina being very Sick & Weak in body but in perfect
mind and memory, thanks be to God for it Calling to mind the mortality
of my Body Knowing that it is apointed once for all men to Dy I do
make and ordain This my Last Will & Testement.
   First of all I do Recomend my soul into the Hands of The Almighty
God that give it me and my Body to the Erth to be buried in a decent
buriel at the Descration of my Exacters Not touching of worldly Estates
Where with it had pleased God to bless my in this life I dismis and
dispose of the same in the following manner and form.  
   Item I do give and bequeth unto Sarah Black my dear and loving wife
the third part of my Estate together With Her maintenance of the Said
Land Which is my property.
   I do give and bequeth unto my Sun Jacob Black and to my Sun frederick
Black my land and one hors one heffer and Tenements to be Equally devided
between them both.  I do give and bequeth unto Sufiah my Loving Daughter
one cow one heffer and one calf one bed and furniture and one spning
Wheel.  I do allow Mary Sights & Catren Mock Eatch of them to have ten
pounds.  I do give and bequeth unto my Loving daughter Loues Black one
cow and one Heffer and one calf one Bed and furniture one spining Wheel.
I do give and bequeth to my Loving daughter Sarah Black one cow one hefer
one calf one Bed and furniture one Spining wheel.  I do give and 
bequeth unto my loving Son Adam Black one Hors, one heffer and my
desire for my Hole Estate to be Equally devided amongst my Legatees
Like Wise I do Consatute Sarah Black and Jacob Black my Sole Executors
there fore I do disanul and revoack all Wills and bequeths only this to
be my Last will and testament In witness I do set my hand & seal this
12 day of January 1789.
