Society of Friends, Lurgan, Ireland Monthly Meeting, Register Transcripts, Marriage section The marriage for Lydia does not list her parents. The fact that it was held at the house of John Robson, who married Sarah Atkinson, who was stated as the daughter of Stephen and Isabell would suggest Lydia was also a daughter. Note that Abigail, also stated as a daughter of Stephen was also married at the house of John Robson. 6. Chester MM of Women's Friends 1695-1733, US Quaker Meeting Records, 1681-1935, Ancestry.com. John Hoskins and Ruth Adkison laid their intention for marriage the second time on 31 day, 8 month, 1698. 7. Ruth Hoskins will, Chester Co., PA Will Book 2, p. 43. Note that the will of Ruth Hoskins included a bequest to her "sister Abigail Bell". Abigail had probably been living near or with her sister Lydia Hollingsworth in Maryland. On 25 day 7 month 1732 Abigail Bell, sometime "from native country of Ireland," was received at the Chester Monthly Meeting, Pennsylvania, from the Cecil Monthly Meeting, Kent County, Maryland. She may have then lived with her sister Ruth Hoskins.
