sick but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be given unto God, calling unto
mind the mortality of the body & knowing that it is appointed for all men
to die do make and ordain this my last will & Testament that is to say
principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands
of Almighty God that gave it and by body to the earth to be buried in a
decent and christian burial at the descretion of my executor nothing
doubting But at the General resurrection I shall receive the same again
by the Almighty power of God, and as touching such worldly estate wherewith
God has been pleased to bless me with in this life I give and dispose of
the same in the following manner.

of my estate be divided in the following manner, that is my wife to have
my land in her hands her lifetime or so long as she lives unmarried, But
if she marries then it is to be sold and equally divided to all my children.
The other part of my estate to remain in the hands of my wife during her
widowhood, or so much of as her and my executor should think was sufficient
to school and raise the children, if any of my children marries or has that
this property would be valued that each one might get their equal part of
the property at that time. It is my will that Joseph SHARP and Swepson
SIMS be my executors and I hereby disclaim any other will and Testament
In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of
April One thousand and eight hundred and twelve. Signed sealed and
delivered by the said as his last will and testament in the presence of us
who have subscribed our names.
