In the name of God amen I Mary Goodman of Badby the Countie of Northampton
widdoe being sicke in body but I thank God of good mynd & memorie doo
make & ordayne this my last will & testament in manner & forme as followes.
   Imprimis I recomend my soule into the hands of Allmightie God my most
Allmightie Creator & mercifull redemer & my body to the earth from whence
it was first taken.
   Item I give & bequeath to my daughter Dorthie Robins five shillings &
to every of her children three shillings & four pence apeice to be payd
to every of them within the span of one year next after my decease.
   Item I give & bequeath to my daughter Sarah Higginson five shilllings
& to every of her children three shillings & four pence apeice to be
payd to every of them within the span of one year after my decease.
   Item I give & bequeath to my grandchildren Edward Goodman & Mary
Goodman twentie shillings apeice & to every one of the rest of my son
John Goodmans other children tenn shillings apeice to be payd within the
span of one year after my decease.
   Item I give to the poore of Badby tenn shillings to be payd within the
span of two months after my decease.
   Item all other my goods not given nor bequeathed I give & bequeath to
my son John Goodman who I make & appoynt to be my only executor of this
my last will & testamnet & I ordayne my trusted & welbeloved Thomas
Rushall my brother & Willm Downing my kinsman to be my faythful overseers
to who I give for their paynes hearin two shillings apeice & in witness
that this is my last will & testament I have hereunto put my hand xv Feb.
